Why is the press being so careful to try to portray the current raft of Republican candidates as credible?
Simply put, we run a two party system in America. The Liberal Democrats and the Conservative Republicans. The problem here is that while the Democrats unabashedly cling to partisan left wing politics and produce strong leftist politicians, the Right can’t get its act together and take a stand. The Republican Party is a mediocre shadow of its former self trying to “Meet in the middle” and attract independents while selling out the base. The Tea Party represents what Conservatism used to be in this country, but in our two party systems there’s no room for a third party platform.
