No I don't think that its a polite way of saying that she's not interested. She might be saving herself the embarrassment as u said that I "would of asked you" so maybe she thinks that u were being polite in saying that ur not interested in her like u considered her but not actually asking her out! If that makes any sense. Or maybe she actually means what she said! She really is tired. Hope that helps.
