Where can I found those "Research" groups in NYC that pay you?

I'm 18 years old and in need of some quick cash. I always see those things in the paper about "sleep research, smoking studies, etc" where you basically just use yourself as a guinea pig to get paid. However I can't find anything reliable at this moment. Does anyone know any legit place in New york city that do this and pay on the spot?
