What career path should I start following (in high school)? ?

Im in 9th grade going to 10th. I take AP classes, my grades are B+ average. I'm very interested in how things work; how structures work, what causes things, etc. I'm very good at noticing patterns. I overthink situations from the social standpoint (I notice how people do things and why). Classes that interest me are Science & English. I know how teachers think and why they teach things, however this overthinking I do causes me to be somewhat lazy. I am loyal to teachers and coaches. I enjoy working alone with help only from teachers. Based on this, what do you suggest I start following?
