Will timothy hay's nutrition value decrease alot after being stored in a plastic bin for a long time?

Nutritional value won't be compromised much (beyond whatever the mold consumed), but the mold will make the hay unusable anyway. The idea is to keep it in a ventilated container so that moisture can escape and prevent this.
