How do i improve my reading score on the ACT?

I am the exact same way as you. The way I conquer the section is by concentrating incredibly hard, even more than I usually do. You can't read all of the sections word for word. You have to skim them, and pick up the things you think are important. Just really really concentrate. It's hard for me too. Even with me doing this, I think I still got like a 25 on my practice. I definitely have to improve my score too.
