Can you put a top on a C&C cage?

I'm making a C&C cage for my guinea pigs, but I need to know if it is possible to make a top for the cage. Is there a way to connect it on? I need to know because I have cats and dogs and I don't want them to bother my guinea pigs or jump in their cage and eat there food or, well, eat the piggies!
